Before starting SABRIL, tell your physician concerning all of your (or your child's) medical conditions including depression, state of mind troubles, self-destructive ideas Bookmarks or actions, any allergic reaction to SABRIL, vision problems, kidney problems, low red blood cell matters (anemia), and any type of nervous or psychological health problem.

SABRIL (vigabatrin) is a prescription medication used with other treatments in children and adults 2 years of age and older with refractory complicated partial seizures (CPS) who have not reacted all right to numerous other treatments and if the possible advantages outweigh the threat of vision loss.

One of the most common adverse effects of SABRIL in kids 3 to 16 years is weight gain. With extreme vision loss, you may just be able to see points right in front of you (sometimes called one-track mind"). You are at risk for vision loss with any quantity of SABRIL.

Inform your healthcare provider if you are expectant or mean to obtain expectant. If vision screening can not be done, your doctor might continue prescribing SABRIL, yet will not be able to look for any type of vision loss. Your health care service provider might stop suggesting SABRIL for you (or your child)if vision tests are not done routinely.
